Are you sure you know your name?

It seems like a silly question, but it's important to tell your lawyer every version of your name you've ever used. We have had clients who have used over a dozen various permutations of their first, middle and several different last names though the course of their life. This can cause problems when transferring title to assets and with banks allowing agents to access accounts. I challenge you to look at your driver's license and compare it to the name listed on your car title, the deed to your house, and your bank account. My advice? Pick one version of your name and stick with it on every document you sign.
