Beware online forms…
In the age of AI and internet resources, it can be tempting to try to draft your own estate documents, demand letters, and such. However, we urge you to use caution. Once again this week, we have seen multiple instances in which new clients used the internet as a legal resource, only to end up with documents that were not executed correctly and that were not appropriate under Texas (as opposed to some other state) law. Please use caution and, if you do draft your own documents, please have a licensed attorney review them.
